LIDC-IDRI — The Cancer Imaging Archive (TCIA)

This demonstration contains 24 consecutive, de-identified thoracic CT slices
from LIDC-IDRI-0001. The original DICOM bytes, pixels, UIDs and geometry are
preserved. This is a subset of a 133-instance series, not a complete examination.

Original InstanceNumber: 79 through 56, sorted by increasing patient z.
Original image size: 512 x 512. Slice spacing: 2.5 mm.
DICOM files are renamed ct-01.dcm through ct-24.dcm without modifying contents.
The landing preview and animation textures are reduced to 192 x 192 using
nearest-neighbor sampling and soft-tissue windowing (center 40, width 400 HU).
The animation separates slices for illustration; z spacing is not to scale.
The local-processing illustration also derives a 192 x 192 mask from slice
index 12 using HU > 300 before windowing; its static preview blends that mask
in yellow at opacity 0.65. These illustrations are prepared during the build.
source-manifest.json records provenance, instance UIDs and SHA-256 checksums.

Redistribution must preserve attribution, the license and the TCIA data usage
policy link. These images are supplied by TCIA; no endorsement of EdgePy Viewer
by the data authors or TCIA is implied.
